Islamabad:Delivering its promises mentioned in PTI’s election manifesto, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will be inaugurating a nationwide cleanliness drive named "Clean and Green Pakistan" in Islamabad on Monday.
Initially, the campaign will be started from major cities of Pakistan and further advanced to other regions. The decision to start a cleanliness campaign across Pakistan was taken last month during a meeting chaired by the PM Imran Khan on the functions of Ministry of Climate Change at the PM Office.
The center and the four provinces had agreed to undertake the new initiative at a meeting of the council of common interests, said a report in Pakistan radio.Earlier Pak PM announced adopting austerity measures and had launched a plantation drive.(UNI)
