"Stop arming genocide": Pro-Palestinian protesters storm NBC lobby to disrupt Joe Biden's show appearance

Washington: Pro-Palestinian protesters have gathered in the lobby of the corporate media outlet NBC in New York to interrupt President Joe Biden's upcoming appearance on the Late Night with Seth Meyers segment, RawsAlerts reported.

According to the report, hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in the NBC building's lobby on Monday, chanting "Stop arming genocide."

The chant is in reference to Israel's military actions in Palestine that have resulted in the deaths of some 30,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the displacement of nearly 2 million Palestinians there amid widespread hunger.

New York police officers have arrested several of the protesters, the report said.

Biden is visiting New York for what the White House described as a "campaign meeting," without revealing additional details.
