New York: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has topped the 2022 TIME100 poll, in which readers vote for who they think should be in the magazine's list of the year's most influential people.
A total of 3.3 million votes were cast by the public, with 5 per cent of voters naming President Zelensky as the key public figure of 2022.
In second place was Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk with 3.5 per cent of the vote.
Last December, Musk was named TIME's 2021 Person of the Year for his influence on “life on Earth, and potentially life off Earth too”.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson came in third with 3.4 per cent of the vote. (UNI)
