Damascus: Israel has carried out strikes on the international airports of Damascus and Aleppo in Syria, causing the suspension of their operations, Syrian newspaper Al-Watan reported on Thursday.
According to preliminary data, the airports runways were reportedly shelled.
As per Syrian reports, country's air defenses responded to the strike.
The alleged Israeli airstrikes come amid the IDF's ongoing war against Hamas, and as shells were fired from the Syrian border into Israel on Tuesday night.
