Sitamarhi: After construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Union Home Minister Amit Shah Thursday promised that a big and magnificent temple of "Maa Sita" would be constructed in Sitamarhi and this would also be connected with Ramayan circuit.

Shah while addressing a mammoth public meeting in favour of NDA candidate Devesh Chandra Thakur from Sitamarhi Lok Sabha seat, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not only laid foundation stone of Ram temple in Ayodhya but got consecrated the Ram lalla idol in the huge temple constructed there. It was PM Modi who got constructed Ram temple as the Ram lalla was kept in tent for a long time due to indifferent attitude of Congress and RJD, he added.

"We will build a big and magnificent temple of Maa Sita at Punauradham in Sitamarhi, which would be a great attraction for devotees of not only eastern India and various parts of the country but also from across the globe", Shah, also a senior BJP leader said and exhorted the people to extend their support in formation of BJP led NDA government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after Lok Sabha elections.'' Our government would take steps to connect Sitamarhi with Ramayan circuit so that devotees could come here easily and they would not have to face any difficulty, he added.

The BJP leader said Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, top party leader Rahul Gandhi, RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav were invited for consecration of the idol of Ram lalla inside the big temple constructed in Ayodhya on January 22 this year. None of them attended the ceremony due to fear of losing vote bank, he pointed out and added that BJP had no fear of losing such vote bank.

He exhorted the people of Sitamarhi to ask Lalu, his son and Congress leaders why did they skip the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
