"Lowered dignity of PM post": Modi's 'mujra' jibe sparks strong reaction from opposition

Patna: Leaders of opposition parties strongly criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his 'Mujra' jibe, saying he has lowered the dignity of the post of PM.
 
Modi had during his rally in Patliputra Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar during the day said INDIA bloc leaders were even prepared to perform ' Mujra' before their vote banks to please and protect them.
 
He made the remark while dwelling on his allegation that Congress and other opposition parties were snatching reservation of SCs, STs and opposition and giving the same to Muslims, said to be their vote bank. Modi had declared in his speech that the Constitution was supreme for him and he would not allow the opposition to violate it in any form for vote bank politics.
 
National spokesman of Congress Pawan Khera, strongly reacting to Modi's "Mujra" jibe said he had lowered the dignity of the post of PM. "No PM in history had ever used such language in his speech," he pointed out.
 
He advised Modi to get treated and remain in good health. He also asked top BJP leaders J P Nadda and Amit Shah to ensure Modi got better treatment.
 
RJD Rajya Sabha member Manoj Jha said he was surprised to learn about the PM's comments. "Till yesterday, I used to disagree with the views of the PM, but now I'm worried for him," said Jha.
