Bhopal: As many as five lakh laddus shall be dispatched to Ayodhya from the ancient temple town of Ujjain’s world-renowned Mahakaleshwar shrine on the occasion of the Ram temple’s consecration ceremony slated for January 22.
During an interaction with media representatives here on Friday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav averred, “In compliance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s directive, we will all visit Ayodhya on whichever date is assigned to our state.”
Emphasising that a Ram shrine, built on the orders of monarch Vikramaditya, was torn down by the forces of Mughal emperor Zahir ud-Din Muhammad Babur, Yadav said, “When the temple is being reconstructed, the Madhya Pradesh dispensation shall leave no stone unturned to render the festive occasion unforgettable.”
