Sand artist Sudarshan uses 3,425 sand ladoos to create Ganesh at Puri beach

Puri: On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture of Lord Ganesh with 3,425 sand ladoo with message "Happy Ganesh Puja" at Puri beach in Odisha.

Sudarsan has created a 6ft high sand sculpture of Lord Ganesh by using 3,425 sand ladoos with two elephants. The two elephants in his sculpture were depicted praying for the environment.

Two time World champion Padma Shree awardee Sudarsan has been always trying to spread awareness through his sculpture.

His awareness and sand arts are often appreciated by the UN environment and WHO.

The sand artist has participated in more than 60 International sand art festivals and championships around the World and won many prizes for the country. (UNI)
