11 coaches of Bengaluru-Kamakhya Express derail in Odisha (VIDEO)

Bhubaneswar: Eleven coaches of Bengaluru-Kamakhya Express derailed near Nirgundi railway station in Cuttack’s Choudwar here on Sunday.

Sources said the train derailed at 11.54 hours.

The train was on its way to Kamakhya in Assam from Bengaluru when the accident occurred.

The cause of the accident is not yet known.

Senior railway officials like G M East Coast Railway are reaching the spot.

ECOR CPRO said nobody has been injured in the accident and alternative arrangements are being made for the passengers to reach their destination.

But unofficial sources said some passengers were injured and were being taken to the hospital for treatment.
