Srinagar: As many as 12 youths were arrested for their alleged involvement in stone pelting in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said here on Wednesday.
They said following inputs, security forces raided various villages in Pulwama on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. ''12 youths were arrested during the raids for their alleged involvement in stone pelting,'' they said, adding the youths are being questioned.
However, the family members of the youths claimed that they were not involved in stone pelting. The family members demanded their immediate release.(UNI)
