Sawai Madhopur: At least 20 people were killed and 23 others injured, when a bus fell into the river Banas early Saturday morning. According to police, the incident took place at 0700 hrs when the bus, en route to Lalsot from Sawai Madhopur, fell off the bridge into the river.
Gas cutters were being used to rescue the injured. Ambulances were pressed into service to rush the injured to hospitals.The driver of the speeding bus lost control over the wheels leading to the tragedy. Most of the passengers hailed from Sawai Madhopur and Madhya Pradesh.(UNI)
