An Indian student from Punjab on Wednesday died in Ukraine, as the country fights a war with Russia after being invaded almost a week ago.
Chandan Jindal (22) was studying at Vinnytsia National Pyrogov, Memorial Medical University, Ukraine.
According to reports, Jindal was admitted in Emergency Hospital Vinnytsia after suffering an Ischemic stroke. He breathed his last earlier in the day.
Jindal is the second Indian died in the war-hit country in two days after Naveen Shekharappa who was also a medical student and lost his life amid Russian shelling in Kharkiv on Tuesday.
