They were part of a 10-member trekking team who went trekking at Yeoor Hills inside SGNP.

According to the Thane Municipal Corporation’s (TMC) disaster cell, during trekking they got trapped inside one of the caves located in the hilltop while trying to escape the bee attack, even as three of them were stung by the insects.
