Bengaluru: In a crackdown that has shaken the city's tech corridors, 31 people, including 24 men and seven women -- all reportedly employees of leading IT firms — were arrested following a police raid at a suspected rave party at a farmhouse near Kannamangala Gate in Devanahalli early on Sunday.

The Devanahalli police, acting on a tip-off, raided the farmhouse around 5 am and found narcotics being consumed during what was said to be a birthday celebration.

Cocaine, hashish, hydro ganja and other psychotropic substances, along with premium alcohol, were seized from the venue.

“We have apprehended the participants and sent their blood and urine samples for testing,” a top police officer said.
