Chennai: A day before the RK Nagar by-boll, a video of Jayalalitha, who was seen bedridden in the last days of her life went viral on Wednesday morning. As per the rumors it is believed that video was released by the Dinakaran group.
The video showed former cm Jayalalitha sipping beverage from a plastic glass. However Election commission has asked all the media houses to remove it from their youtube channels.
It is to be noted that Jaya was admitted to hospital on 22nd September last year and she expired on 5th December 2016.
Subsequently, after her death, the RK Nagar seat was set for a by-poll. There is a triangular contest between Madhusudanan, Maruthuganesh and Dinakaran. The voting is on 21st December and result will be declared on 24th December. (WD)
