New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday announced that all AAP government Ministers, MPs and MLAs would donate one month salary to flood ravaged state of Kerala."All AAP MLAs, MPs and ministers donating one month salary for Kerala," the Chief Minister tweeted.
Initially, Kejriwal had announced a contribution of Rs 10-crore to the flood affected state after he spoke to his counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan.
He also urged everyone to donate generously for "our brother and sisters" in Kerala.
According to CMO Kerala, the state is facing its worst flood situation in 100 years. "80 dams opened, 324 lives lost and 2,23,139 people are in over 1500 relief camps,'' a twitter post stated.(UNI)
