After JDU ,Nitish Kumar elected as leader of NDA alliance

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was today formally elected leader of JD(U) legislature party.Mr Kumar was elected leader of  JD(U) legislature party at its meeting held at 1 Anne Marg, the official residence of Chief Minister. 
All newly elected MLAs of JD(U), senior leaders of  the party and MLCs were present in the meeting when Mr  Kumar was formally elected leader of JD(U) legislature party.
 
Mr Kumar was also elected leader of NDA legislature party at its meeting held at 1 Anne Marg. After being formally elected leader of NDA legislature party, Mr Kumar would call on Governor Fagu Chauhan to stake claim for formation of the new government.
 
Union Minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh has also arrived from New Delhi as observer to facilitate the process of of election of NDA legislature party.He was also to attend the meeting of BJP legislature party for election of its leader but the venue was shifted from BJP state headquarters to 1 Anya Marg. 
 
Leader of BJP legislature party were also elected at the meeting held at 1 Anne Marg as all its newly elected MLA are present there.Union Minister Mr Singh announced the name of Nitish Kumar as the next CM and Sushil Kumar Modi as deputy CM after meeting of NDA legislature party.(UNI)
