Lucknow: A youth killed his mother and four sisters allegedly due to family discord in a hotel in Naka area of Lucknow on Wednesday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that on Wednesday morning information regarding five bodies inside the room of Sharanjeet hotel in Naka area was recieved.
Police sources said the local police reached the spot immediately and Arshad (24), a resident of islam Nagar in Kuberpur area of Agra, was taken into custody.
Police sources said that during preliminary questioning Arshad revealed that he killed his four sisters and mother due to family discord. "The accused is being questioned further. The field unit has reached the spot," they said.
Police sources said that the deceased have been identified as Asma, her daughters Alia (9), Alshia (19), Aksa (16) and Rahmeen (18).
Police sources said that Arshad has been arrested from the spot.
