New Delhi: A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Wednesday sent alleged British middleman in the AgustaWestland case Christian Michel to five days of CBI custody.
The court’s decision came after the CBI told the judge that the agency needed to interrogate him to trace the 37 million Euros that he allegedly received for the deal.
Michel, the alleged middleman in politically-sensitive Rs 3,600-crore AgustaWestland chopper deal, was brought to India late Tuesday night following his extradition by the UAE.
