Air quality remains 'very poor' in Delhi

New Delhi : The air quality in the national capital stuck to 'Very Poor' level andday is turning out to be partly cloudy on this first Monday of the last month of the year.


 


According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality was very poor in past 24 hours with Index value at 391, up from 359 on Sunday evening. The figure is based on 13 monitoring stations with PM2.5 and PM10 being the primary pollutants. 

According to System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the Air Quality was recorded AQ1 at 370.The minimum temperature was recorded at 8.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal 
while the maximum is expected to be 23 degree C, the India Meteorological Department said.Relative humidity was pegged at 89 per cent at 0830 hrs, the weatherman said. (UNI)
