Amend or end COVID-19 restrictions: Central govt directs all state/UTs as cases continue to decline

Aurangabad/Mumbai: The central government has directed the states and union territories to assess the situation and change the restrictions or repeal them as the cases of Corona pandemic has decreased in the country.

In this regard, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to all the states chief secretaries Wednesday night which was posted on his Twitter account.

He stated that, Everyone should continue to follow the five principles of prevention, testing, treatment, treatment, vaccination, and preventive measures to prevent corona virus.

Maharashtra state one of the most affected due to Covid virus presently decreasing number of Covid cases. During the past 24 hours 2748 positive cases while 5,806 were cured and now 27,445 active cases were under treatment.

However, in the state so far 4456 Cases of new variant Omicron were spotted of them 3334 were cured. (UNI)
