Andhra Pradesh: 4 killed as newly purchased car collides with tree in Palnadu district; family was returning from Anjaneya Swamy temple

Guntur: Four persons were killed and two others injured when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a tree at Brahmanapalli village at Piduguralla Mandal in Palnadu district on Sunday.

Police said one of the deceased Tulluri Suresh purchased a new car. He and his family members went to Kondagutta Anjaneya Swamy temple in Telangana to fulfill their vows.

When they were going back to their native village Siripuram in Kavali Mandal in Nellore district, their car rammed into a roadside tree killing Tulluri Suresh, T Vanita, Yogulu and Venkateswarulu on the spot.

The injured were admitted to the GGH in Piduguralla. Palnadu district SP Srinivasa Rao visited the scene of the accident.
