Kurnool: In a shocking incident, a teenage girl, unable to bear the harassment of a stalker, allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide in her house at the BC colony at Nagaruri village in Aspari Mandal.
CI Mastanvali told the media that the deceased girl Ashwani (16) was studying Intermediate first year at a private institution.
A 17-year-old accused had been harassing her in the name of love. The minor boy had been insisting she loved him. On Saturday he went to her house and argued with her and insisted that she loved him.
Unable to bear the harassment, she consumed pesticide. She was shifted to the GGH in Adoni where the doctors declared her brought dead. The parents in their complaint said that she consumed pesticide, unable to bear the harassment of the accused and his insistence to marry him. Sub-Collector Mourya Bharadwaj visited the body of the girl in the GGH.
CI Mastanvali made it clear that according to the complaint lodged by the parents of the deceased girl, she committed suicide by consuming pesticide unable to bear the harassment of a stalker.
