Jammu: Army troops on Wednesday morning launched a search operation after opening fire on a Pakistani drone spotted close to the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"The Pakistani drone was spotted hovering during the wee hours close to the fence in the Mendhar sector of Rajouri, but it returned after Army troops fired a few rounds," said official sources.
They said that to rule out any drone dropping, a search operation was launched in the area, but nothing has been found so far.
