New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday skipped the seventh summons issued to him by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the alleged Delhi excise policy case.

The AAP said since the matter is in court, the agency should await the court’s decision instead of repeatedly sending summonses to the Chief Minister.

As per sources, the matter would be heard on March 16.

Kejriwal has skipped all the summons, terming them "illegal". The anti -corruption agency recently filed a complaint in court against Kejriwal for skipping the sixth summons.

On February 22, the probe agency issued a seventh summons to Kejriwal, directing him to appear before it on February 26 (Monday).
