Daily hearing on Ayodhya land dispute from 2 Aug if mediation fails on 31st July

New  Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday said that it will  hear the Ayodhya land title case in an open court on August 2 and directed mediation panel to continue with the process and submit a fresh status report on July 31. 
A constitution bench, headed by Chief  Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi and other four judges, took into  record the status report submitted by mediation panel and  said, "We now fix the date of hearing on August 2. We request the  mediation committee to inform the outcome of the proceedings as of July  31."
 
The  mediation panel comprise former Supreme Court judge FMI Kalifulla,  spiritual guru and founder of Art of Living foundation Sri Sri  Ravishankar and senior advocate Sriram Panchu, a renowned mediator.(UNI)
