Chennai: The intense and most fierce battle lines were drawn for the next Lok Sabha polls which is due in next 8-9 months away.

In counter meets organised by the Opposition parties, for which the Congress has taken the lead in Bengaluru--the second meeting after the one at Patna--and the BJP-Led NDA congregation at the National capital, both the camps vowed to defeat each other in the polls.

Both the sections went overboard in the meeting and went the extra mile in criticising each other setting the stage for the fierce battle in the polls.

While the BJP-led alliance, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi harped on the the aspects of corruption and dynastic politics, the INDIA meet (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) stressed on dethroning the BJP from power.

While both the camps pitched for their only goal--unity for their victory--it remains to be seen who will emerge in this sensational battle that will, in all likely, pitchfork BJP-led and India in what is seen as can be an intense contested polls as for the first time with both have deciding to form a Margabandhu alliance and gird their loins with a view to defeat each other in the polls, which has been viewed as a prestigious matter for them.

While the INDIA camp hinged on the alleged misuse of its Central investigating agencies against the Opposition parties, differentiating its stand in various states on corruption cases, the rival Congress-led party said it would take them legally.

Political observers see the Congress remarks on Prime Ministerial candidate--that they are not interested in country's interests and are ready to accommodate any leader for INDIA--the BJP is firm that that Mr Modi is the supreme candidate and he will return to power for the third term rpt term in succession.

The India camp said they are ready to take the gauntlet posed by the BJP led alliance and expressed confidence that it would emerge victor in a bid to rid the country of the vindictive politics pursued by the BJP-Led government against its political allies.

But what is the talking point is that how the Congress will accommodate its about more than 20 allies in seat sharing and who will emerge as the PM candidate remains to be seen, especially in the context of its decision to give up the post in a bid to defeat the BJP and also to keep the INDIA alliance intact.

This is just the beginning...the next India Meet in Mumbai will chalk out the future course of action as stated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K.Stalin--who has been steadfast in opposing the BJP and determined to dethrone it from power--which has been the unanimous view of the Opposition parties.
