Bihar: BJP leader shot dead outside his home in Patna

Patna: BJP leader Ajay Shah (50), owner of a milk parlour, was shot dead by some armed criminals near Bajrang Puri under the Alamganj police station area in the state capital on Tuesday night.

According to the police, the criminals entered Shah's shop when he was winding up his day and fired discriminately at him.

Shah was rushed to Nalanda Medical College Hospital, where he was declared dead by the doctors.

The police said that, prima facie, the incident appears to be an outcome of a land dispute.

The matter was being investigated from various angles.

Shah was associated with the BJP.
