Bihar Shocker! Man kills constable wife over suspected affair, slits throats of children and mother; commits suicide later

Bhagalpur: A man committed suicide after killing four of his family members, including his constable wife, in the police lines of the Ishakchak police station area of Bhagalpur district in Bihar.

Bhagalpur range DIG Vivekanand said here on Tuesday that the bodies of women constable Neetu Kumari, her mother, her husband Pankaj Kumar, and two children were recovered from the official residence of the district police line.

Pankaj Kumar's body was discovered hanging with a rope, and a suicide note was recovered, revealing his confession of killing his wife Neetu, her mother, and two children by slitting their throats.

Pankaj Kumar committed suicide after his wife's illicit relationship with someone else, as stated in his suicide letter.

The DIG said that the woman cop of Buxar and Pankaj Kumar had a love marriage.

The 2015 batch woman cop was appointed to the senior police superintendent office in Bhagalpur three years ago.

The matter was being investigated.
