Bihar Shocker! VIP party chief Mukesh Sahani's father brutally killed in Darbhanga

Darbhanga: In a gruesome incident, father of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) party chief Mukesh Sahani was killed at his ancestral residence under Biraul police station area in Darbhanga district on Tuesday.

Senior police superintendent Jagannath Reddy told media persons here on Tuesday that criminals killed Jeetan Sahani, father of VIP chief Mukesh Sahani, at his residence itself, located in Supaul Bazar, under the Afzal Panchayat of Biraul sub-division.

A mutilated body was recovered this morning, he informed.

"A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to crack the case," Reddy said, adding that the SIT would be headed by SP (Rural) Kamya Mishra of Darbhanga. The SDPO of Biraul, the officer-in-charge of Biraul police station, and an officer of the technical cell of Darbhanga police would be members of the SIT, he stated. Senior police officers had already visited the spot after receiving the incident, he informed.

Mukesh Sahani, currently in Mumbai, confirmed via phone that he will reach Supaul by late evening due to an unavailable flight for his early return.
