Body of Mumbai banker who jumped to death from Atal Setu recovered

Mumbai: The body of a Mumbai banker who committed suicide by jumping from the Atal Setu was recovered at Jawaharlal Nehru Port in neighbouring Navi Mumbai, police said on Wednesday.
 
Sushant Chakravarty, 40, was employed as a bank manager at a nationalised bank in Mumbai.
 
He jumped from the Atal Setu, also known as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), on Monday morning around 10 am, police said.
 
A CCTV camera of traffic police had recorded Chakravarty's act of jumping into the sea from the bridge.
 
According to Sewri police, the body was spotted on the shore of JNPT on Tuesday evening and it was identified with the help of a car key found in the victim's pocket, police said.
