Jammu: The Border Security Force(BSF) troops on Tuesday exchanged sweets with Pakistan Rangers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr at different Border Outposts along international border in the Jammu sector.
BSF spokesperson, DIG SPS Sandhu said that BSF and Pak Rangers today exchanged sweets on the occasion EID at various BOPs under Jammu Frontier in a very cordial atmosphere.
"The exchange of sweets was done all along the BoPs in Samba, Kathua, RS Pura, Akhnoor," he said.
BSF Jammu offered the sweets to Rangers and they also reciprocated the BSF gesture by offering sweets to them, said the spokesman.
He said that BSF has always been on the forefront in creating a peaceful and congenial atmosphere on Border while dominating the border effectively.
Such gestures help build a peaceful atmosphere and cordial relationships on border between both the forces, he added. (UNI)
