BSF returns Bangladeshi boy who strayed into Indian Territory

New Delhi: The Border Security Force on Wednesday said that it has returned a Bangladeshi boy who had strayed into the Indian territory.

Twelve-year-old Hasanur Jamal Abhik, a resident of Savar village in Dhaka district, was handed over to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Tuesday during a 'Flag Meeting' between the two guarding forces at BSF Border Out Post Dawki and BGB border Outpost Tamabil in the presence of in charge of Dawki immigration Sub-Inspector R Kharkongor.

The Bangladeshi boy was found roaming in area of Village Dawki on June 6, by locals who handed him over to Dawki police station in West Jaintia Hills (Megh).  On June 7, the boy was handed over to BSF Coy Commander of BOP Dawki. (UNI)
