BSF shoots down 'spying' Pakistan drone near IB

Jammu: Alert troops of BSF on Saturday shot down one 'spying' drone of Pakistan close to the International Border in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.However, some recoveries of weapons was also made by the troops.
Official sources here said that around 0510 hours, BSF found one drone flying into Indian territory near Pansar Border Outpost in village Rathua of Hiranagar upon which BSF fired about eight to nine rounds and destroyed it. 
 
They added that during search of the drone, one Rifle M-4, two magazines, 60 rounds, seven grenades M-67 and four batteries fitted with drone made in China, were recovered while more details were awaited.
 
Senior BSF officials have also rushed to the spot to access the situation on ground and would also brief media shortly.(UNI)
