Srinagar: Security forces launched a Cordoned and Search Operation (CASO) in the woods in Tral area of south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Tuesday following firing early this morning, official sources said.
They said on a tip off security forces launched a CASO in the forest area of Lam in Tral in Pulwama district following a tip off about the presence of militants. There were some firing shots in the area when security forces were moving ahead in the dense forest, they added.Security forces have further tightened the cordon and launched a massive search in the woods, they said adding further details are awaited.(UNI)
