Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna offers prayers in Tirumala temple

Tirumala: Chief Justice of India (CJI), Justice Sanjiv Khanna, offered prayers to Sri Venkateswara Swamy during his maiden visit to Tirumala temple on Sunday.

TTD Executive Officer J Syamala Rao and Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary welcomed the CJI at Mahadwaram.

He was offered a traditional Isthikapal welcome by temple priests amidst chanting of Veda mantras and led to the temple.

After the darshan, the Chief Justice of India was offered Sesha Vastram and later Vedaseervachanam at the Ranganayakula Mandapam.
