City police busts ISIS-run phone exchange in Telangana, one arrested

Hyderabad: The city police have busted an illegal internet telephony exchange which was allegedly being used by ISIS-inspired module at Nallakunta area in the city on Friday.
  
Based on inputs from a military intelligence, City police have raided the premises in Nallakunta and recovered large number of illegally procured SIM-box devices and SIM cards, besides laptops and computers.
 
One person was taken into custody and shifted to a secret place for questing, according to unofficial sources here on Friday night.According to police, the illegal VoIP exchanges enabled callers from other countries to call any Indian number by hiding their identity or displaying an Indian number to the receivers.(UNI)
