New Delhi: A case has been registered against a school principal and two teachers here in connection with the alleged suicide of a class IX student. According to police sources, the girl lived with her family in Noida Sector-62 and was student of Ahlcon Public School, located at Mayur Vihar.The student allegedly hanged herself on Tuesday evening as she was in stress after she failed in two subjects, they said on Wednesday. Sources said that the student was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead.
A police official said that although police have not received any suicide note but on the complaint of the parents today, a case was registered under sections 306 and 506 of IPC against the principal and two teachers of the school. The official said family members of the deceased alleged that their daughter was harassed in the school.(UNI)
