T-Guv approves Cabinet resolution dissolving state Assembly

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao dissolved the state assembly on Thursday afternoon.
 The Cabinet Meeting was chaired by Mr Rao is likely to take a decision for Assembly Dissolution paving way for early poll.
 
The first cabinet meeting was held on September 2 ahead of  TRS Pragathi Nivedana Sabha at Kongara Kalan on  the outskirts of the city.
     
According to party sources, the TRS Chief had already asked the Ministers to be present in the capital for the cabinet meeting to be held at Prabhati Bhavan, the official residence and principal workplace of the Chief Minister.
 
After the Cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister is proceeded to Raj Bhavan to submit the resolution recommending assembly dissolution to Governor ESL Narasimhan.

Before addressing a press conference at Pragati Bhavan, the  TRS Chief accompanied by party leaders visit Gun park near Assembly to pay tributes to Telangana Martyrs.
 
Meanwhile, since September 4, more than 100 GOs were issued by various government departments and it is expected that some more will be issued before the house is dissolved.

The agenda in the cabinet meeting included the resolution of dissolving the assembly and an announcement of interim relief of 18 to 20 per cent to state government employees on the basis of the recommendations of the Pay Revision Commission, Reports said.
 
If the Assembly is dissolved, Mr Rao will continue as interim Chief Minister. and all the 119 MLAs lose their membership in the assembly.(UNI)
