Congress government in Karnataka is 'Anti-Hindui': Amit Shah

Congress government in Karnataka is 'Anti-Hindui': Amit Shah
, Wednesday, 10 January 2018 (16:35 IST)
Chitradurga: Continuing to play the Hindutva card ahead of the Assembly Election in Karnataka, BJP President Amit Shah on Wednesday accused the Congress government in the state as 'Hindu Virodi' and expressed confidence that his party will dislodge it at the hustings.
Speaking at party's 'Parivartana Rally' at Holalkere in this district on Wednesday, Mr Shah alleged that "Siddarmaiah government by withdrawing cases against SDPI activists has proved my charge."

Alleging that the ruling Congress has totally failed to maintain law and order and corruption has became rampant in the State, Mr Shah said that the Congress was adopting vote bank politics. "There is no development after Congress came to power in the State and it has no moral right to continue," he added.

Stating that Karnataka voters have also contributed for Mr Narendra Modi to become Prime Minister, Mr Shah said that he has come here to speak about contribution of Modi Government to people of Karnataka. Underlining that the Modi government has released Rs 2,19,000 crore to Karnataka, Mr Shah demanded that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should give account to the voters of the State about where the money has gone instead of blaming the Centre. "During UPA rule, Karnataka would not have received that much money," he added. (UNI)
