New Delhi: The Congress on Friday took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the current situation in Manipur by accusing him of not being sensitive over the matter.
"The PM has the time and inclination to ride on the metro to attend the centenary celebrations of the University that gave him a MA in ‘Entire Political Science’, which clearly did not teach him how to be sensitive to situations like the one prevailing in Manipur," Congress general secretary in-charge Communications Jairam Ramesh wrote in a tweet, while referring to PM's address at the valedictory session of the Delhi University.
The Congress has been questioning the silence of the PM over the Manipur situation.
The party blamed the BJP-led government for the current crisis in Manipur. (UNI)
