Bhopal: Expressing satisfaction over the fact that the ‘millennium scourge’ is under control in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Monday that numerous concessions would be given from Tuesday vis-à-vis corona curfew, which would continue till June 15 as a precautionary measure.
“Henceforward, we have to unlock life and lock the novel coronavirus. Any third wave will be the consequence of people’s carelessness alone therefore we must make COVID-appropriate conduct a part and parcel of our existences,” the senior politician averred while addressing citizens via social media.

“We have suffered considerable losses; the wounds are deep and the pain unbearable. I have deposited assistance amounts in the accounts of orphaned children. Together we have reached the final stage of winning the war against the contagion! All responsible public representatives, social workers, voluntary organisations and activists extended support.

Government employees, doctors, paramedical staff, departmental teams, etc endeavoured to give their best. Premier Narendra Modi’s support in this hour of crisis is truly remarkable. The positivity rate has been steadily declining and the recovery rate has increased to approximately 96 per cent but the threat still looms. We are deeply concerned about patients having black fungus,” the veteran leader said.
