Bhuvi weds Nupur

Meerut: Team India swing bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is all set to tie the knot with fiancee Nupur Nagar on Thursday evening in a simple traditional ceremony in his home town here.The bowler, who is presently in the team playing against visiting Sri Lanka, has taken leave from cricket to get married.Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s marriage celebration has already started and the pre-wedding rituals have been happening over the past two days.

On Thursday morning, Bhuvneshwar and his relatives were present at a ‘ghurchari’ ceremony at his residence in Ganganagar locality.The marriage would be solemnised at a resort near Meerut bypass this evening.Post-wedding receptions have been scheduled for November 26 in Bulandshahar and November 30 in Delhi.Nupur Nagar is an engineer and works in a firm in Noida.The two were neighbours and their fathers worked in the police department.(UNI)
