Crisis deepens in AIADMK as Dinakaran strips 3 Ministers of party posts

Chennai: Sending out a clear message to his detractors that he was the sole authority nof the AIADMK Amma faction, 'ousted' deputy general secretary T T V Dhinakaran today stripped three Ministers of their party posts and appointed his loyalists even as 19 MLAS supporting him, were chilling out at a private resort in Puducherry.In a statement released in the AIADMK Amma faction letter head, he said Revenue Minister R B Udhaya Kumar was removed from the post of Puratchi Thalaivi Amma Peravai Secretary and replaced him with Sivaganga's S Maariappan.

He also sacked Ministers M R Vijayabaskar and K C Veeramani from the post of Karur and Vellore district secretaries and appointed his supporters in their place.He appointed his loyalist and former Minister V Senthil Balaji in place of Vijayabaskar and Ambur MLA A R Balasubramani in place of Veeramani.Dhinakaran also removed MLA Rajan Chellappa from Madurai suburban district secretary post.
