Delhi Assembly Election Result 2025 Live: BJP crosses half way mark as per EC

The BJP has crossed the majority mark with a lead in 36 of the total 70 seats in Delhi, as per initial trends.

The BJP is leading in most of the middle-class-dominated seats across South Delhi, Central Delhi, and New Delhi, as well as in the 25 seats where Purvanchali voters, people from eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, hold significant electoral influence.

BJP candidate Parvesh Verma from the New Delhi constituency, who is contesting against Arvind Kejriwal, is currently leading. BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri is currently in the lead from Kalkaji constituency. Sitting MLA OP Sharma is also currently leading in East Delhi’s Vishwas Nagar constituency.

AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, CM Atishi, and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia are among the top leaders currently trailing.
