New Delhi:Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that Odd Even scheme will not be extended as the sky is now clear and therefore it is not required. While addressing the press here the CM announced that due to the clear sky and improvement in the air quality now the extension of the road rationing scheme is not required.
On Friday the CM had said that the government was thinking to extend the scheme as the air quality was severe, but, it had been suggested by weather monitoring agency that the situation would improve pertaining to weather changes and increase in wind speed.Better than what it was a couple of days ago, Delhi's air was still  under poor category with an index value of 209 on Monday afternoon at around 1300 hours, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.

The increase in the wind speed and the weather changes have helped dispurse the particulate matter while reduction in the air pollution is also due to the coming down of the stubble burning in the neighbouring states.(UNI)
