Delhi Police appeals protesters at Shaheen Bagh to clear road

New Delhi: Stating that normal traffic has been affected due to the ongoing anti-CAA protest at Shaheen Bagh, Delhi Police on Monday appealed the protesters to clear the blockade of Road Number 13A as school children are having inconvenience in reaching their schools.Delhi Police said due to blockade of the road, school children are also having inconvenience in reaching their coaching centres and private tuition.

 
In a series of tweets, the Delhi Police said, ''We have already appealed to you once before. Meanwhile, more complaints have been received regarding inconvenience due to blockade of Road No.13A, particularly to school children who are facing extreme hardship in reaching their schools, coaching centres and private tuitions.''
 
Their parents have expressed deep anxiety in view of forthcoming Board examinations, the Police said. Daily commuters, local residents and businesspersons are also facing acute harassment, the Police said.''We once again appeal to the protesters at Shaheen Bagh to clear the road and restore normal traffic,'' the Police added.(UNI)
