New Delhi:Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday said the new dress code for Marshals shall be reviewed on suggestions of some members.
Mr Naidu said, "Secretariat of the Rajya Sabha, after considering various suggestions, came out with a new dress code for the Marshals. But as we have received observations by some political as well as well-meaning people, I have decided to ask secretariat to review it."
Notably, it was for the first time that the dress code of Marshals were changed in last the five decades but the new uniform caused outrage due to its resemblance with that of Army officials.(UNI)
