Raipur: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday conducted raids at the residence of former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel and his son Chaitanya Baghel in connection with a money laundering and financial irregularities case, an officials said.
The ED team has raided Mr. Baghel's house in Bhilai-3 Padum Nagar as well as other 14 locations, where important documents are being closely examined.
Meanwhile, there has been a ruckus in the state Congress office since morning.
State Congress communication department chairman Sushil Anand Sharma alleged that the ED team reached Baghel's Bhilai residence at the behest of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
