Gaya: Altogether eight people were arrested today for making viral the video of rape of a minor girl under Mufassil police station area in Gaya district.
Senior police superintendent Rajeev Mishra said here that a minor girl was raped on August 25 in an under construction building by local youths under Mufassil police station area when she had gone there with her boyfriend. They had also prepared video of the incident on cell phone and made it viral, he added.
"On the basis of a complaint lodged by parents of the victim, eight youths were arrested in this connection from Sudheri village," Mr Mishra said, adding that two culprits were still at large and raids were being carried out to nab them.
